Institutions

We annually review higher education institutions worldwide to maintain an accurate and up-to-date database. However, this review excludes most institutions on the African continent (except South Africa) and the Asian continent (except Singapore and the Philippines) and excludes institutions in countries embargoed by the United States. For Latin American institutions, validation efforts began in 2024 and are continuously being incorporated.

Our review focuses on identifying institutions not currently in our WorkCenter or those recently established. Both newly founded and existing institutions are evaluated and updated as necessary. The key fields reviewed include:

Institution Description

For U.S.-based institutions (as well as school districts), we integrate data directly from the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) to ensure accuracy. We also validate those institutions outside the NCES on an annual basis.

This ongoing effort ensures that the institutions represented in our WorkCenter reflect the latest available data, maintaining transparency and reliability in our operations.
